ALOE VERA

One of the most popular widely used medicinal plants. The plant is very short-stemmed with thick, greenish, fleshy leaves known for its many health and beauty benefits.

How To Care

Light: Provide it with as much light as possible, especially during spring and summer. A south-facing window would be the ideal spot for an indoor aloe plant, but they also grow well under artificial lights. If you’d like, you can move your potted aloe vera plant to a sunny spot outside during the summer months, but be very careful when you first move it outside

Water: Make sure the plant is getting the right amount of water enough to keep it from drying out completely

Fertilizer: only in the spring and summer no more than once a month with a balanced Fertilizer

Temperature: do best in temperatures between 55 and 80°F (13 and 27°C).

Potting: Fill the pot partially with soil then place the offsets taken from the aloe plant, then set the baby aloe’s root ball right in the middle place some cactus potting mix around the aloe

Pruning: You can remove enough healthy leaves to make the plant fit in the pot, it won’t harm the plant at all.
